Engelberg
Engelberg Abbey (3)Engelberg means "Angel Mountain", but as there is no peak with this name in the vicinity, it can be assumed that it was the abbey, dedicated to Our Lady of the Angels, that gave the village its name, which has become one of the most important tourist destinations in Central Switzerland.
