Cathedral Cloister (3)Numerous grave markers and epitaphs are placed on the walls above the graves of prominent Basel citizens, giving the double cloister an atmosphere steeped in history. Here you can see the epitaph of the mathematician Jacques Bernoulli (1654-1705) on the left-hand pillar, while behind us opens the door to the Pfalz.
