Place de la Plantaz (2)We are now north of the square, facing ‘La Catherine’, a statue erected in 1915 to mark the centenary of Valais joining the Swiss Confederation. Passing to the left of the statue, we cross a wooded park that serves as a playground and arrive in front of the Cantonal Court. Turning right, we head towards St. Theodule's Church, Sion Cathedral and the old town.
