Route de St-Martin

Mase lies on the winding road that serves the villages and hamlets perched on the slopes of Mont Noble, above the right bank of the Borgne, the river that flows through the Val d’Hérens. From the road and the village, the view stretches across the valley and towards the Val d’Hérémence, which climbs up towards the famous Grande-Dixence dam. The road starts in Bramois, on the outskirts of Sion, passes through Mase, St-Martin and various hamlets, before joining the main road between Euseigne and Evolène, allowing you to complete a grand loop to discover many of the different aspects of the Val d’Hérens.
