Réchy
This small village on the left bank of the Rhône rises from the bottom of the valley of the same name and is part of the municipality of Chalais, as is the famous resort of Vercorin, further up the mountain.

Residential and winegrowing, the village of Réchy is not lacking in charm and has preserved many of its traditional old buildings. There's even a beautiful 16th-century residence, the "Castle of Réchy", which has been magnificently renovated. It's possible to rent it if you fancy a bit of château life!

The Rèche, the torrent that flows through the village and gives it its name, rises near the Pass of Louché, at an altitude of 2800m. It formed the Valley of Réchy, a nature reserve ideal for hiking.

From the village, you can see the impressive Rèche Waterfall, which you can admire up close when the access path is passable. Please note that the path is sometimes closed due to the danger of falling rocks!
