Geneva
The gateway to French-speaking Switzerland thanks to its intercontinental airport, the canton of Geneva is worth a visit not only for its very international city but also for its vineyards, which produce excellent wines.

Don't miss visiting the Rade with its water jet and flower clock, St Peter's Cathedral, the Reformers' Wall, the Place Neuve, the Palais des Nations, the Place du Bourg-de-Four in the old town and the small town of Carouge.

All these tourist sites are world-famous and unmissable, but a diversion through the Geneva countryside is also a must, if only to discover the vineyards and do some wine tasting in the cellars.

Once considered an infamous plonk, Geneva's wine has indeed improved considerably and the improvement of wine-making processes has allowed the birth of great vintages that must be discovered.

Although far behind Zurich with its 1,200,000 inhabitants, the Geneva conurbation is the second largest city in Switzerland in terms of population and has more than half a million inhabitants.

This means that it is an exciting city for urban tourism enthusiasts, with endless possibilities for activities, for all ages and tastes!
