Chora Naxos

Chora is the capital and the port of Naxos, the largest and highest island of the Cyclades.

With more than 7000 inhabitants (and many more during the tourist season), Chora is the second largest city in the Cyclades, after Ermoupoli in Syros.

The port of Chora is served by many ferries, departing from Piraeus and Rafina, and you can also reach Naxos by plane from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport in Athens.

The town is the hub for any stay in Naxos, the station of KTEL bus lines is located at the port.

It is also the port of the Express Skopelitis, which serves the Small Cyclades and Amorgos all year round, and of the Alexander, which in summer sails to Santorini on Tuesdays (via Piso Livadi in Paros), to Iraklia and Koufonisia on Thursdays (also via Piso Livadi) and to Delos and Mykonos on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays (via Naoussa in Paros).
