Parikia

Parikia is the capital and the port of Paros, one of the most trendy islands of the Cyclades.

The best seasons to stay in Paros are spring and autumn. The island is now challenging Mykonos and Santorini in fame, so it's overcrowded in summer. All our panoramas have been shot in May, June and September.

The port of Parikia is served by many ferries, departing from Piraeus and Rafina.

You can also go to Paros by plane from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport in Athens. The new airport of Paros is 11 km south of Parikia.

Parikia is a real hub for any stay in Paros as the station of KTEL bus lines is located next to the ferry pier.

You can also go to Antiparos from Parikia with the "karavaki", a small passenger boat (to go with a car, take the ferry shuttle from Pounta, 8.6 km south).
