Curon Venosta

The construction of the Resia dam in 1950 swallowed up the old village of Graun im Vinschgau (Curon Venosta in Italian), which was rebuilt a little higher up. The church tower is still standing and now rises from the centre of a lagoon. Our virtual stroll takes you around this picturesque place that has become a tourist attraction. It also tells you the tragic history of this place.
