Venthône

Together with its neighbours Miège and Veyras, Venthône forms the Noble-Contrée ("Noble Country"), a municipality above Sierre. It is a winegrowing village with panoramic views of the Valais Alps, boasting some fine, well-preserved old buildings, including an impressive tower built between the 12th and 13th centuries and a 17th-century church.
