Lucens
Sherlock Holmes MuseumAdrian Conan Doyle, the youngest son of Arthur Conan Doyle, moved to the castle of Lucens in 1965 and created a Sherlock Holmes Museum dedicated to his father's work. In 2001, this museum was refurbished in the "Maison Rouge" (Red House). Among other things, it contains a reproduction of the living room of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, built according to the detailed descriptions in the stories.
