Sifnos

Renowned for its gastronomy, it's the island where was born Nikolaos Tselementes, renovator of the Greek cuisine.

Sifnos is located between Serifos and Milos, on the Western Cyclades ferry line (from Piraeus). There is no airport but you can get there by plane via Milos (40-60 minutes by ferry). The island is not yet spoiled by mass tourism but it is more and more popular.
